Bible study resources -- text

Many public-domain Bible study resources, such as Easton's Bible Dictionary, Nave's Topical Bible, Strong's Concordance, Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary, and Torrey's New Topical Textbook, are available in plain text from @http://ccel.wheaton.edu/olb/text-zip. (These files are especially useful for programmers.)

Bible software for your Mac or PC

Many of you have asked me for free Bible software that you can download to your Mac or PC. The On-Line Bible is the most capable package available without charge, including several translations in many languages, commentaries, and other options. Further information is available from the official @On-Line Bible page. You can also download some modules from @http://ccel.wheaton.edu/olb/.

Another freely distributable bible software package for windows is the @WinBible Software. It contains the KJV and Darby translations in an easy-to-use package.

The @Bible Software FAQ gives a great deal of information on electronic Bible study resources.
