I. WHERE DID WE COME FROM ? A. I came from God . Genesis 1:26-27 , 2:7 . B. I have my being in Him . Acts 17:26-29 . II. WHAT ARE WE ? A. I am a being endowed with moral consciousness . Genesis 3:8 ; 4:9 . B. Therefore a responsible being . Romans 14:10-11 ; Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 ; 2 Corinthians 5:10 . III. WHY ARE WE HERE ? (WHAT IS OUR DUTY ?) A. To hear Christ . Matthew 17:5 . B. To believe all that He says and obey it . Matthew 7:24-29 ; 28:19-20 ; Mark 16:15-16 . IV. WHERE ARE WE GOING ? A. The body to the grave ; the spirit to God . Ecclesiastes 12:7 . B. To the judgment . Hebrews 9:27 . C. To eternity . Matthew 25:46 . V. WHAT IS OUR DANGER ? A. To neglect salvation . 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 ; Hebrews 2:1-3 . B. To lose my soul . Matthew 16:26 . VI. WHAT IS OUR DESTINY ? A. Heaven or Hell ! (It is our choice !). Matthew 25:31-46 ; Luke 16:19-31 . CONCLUSION : As you can see , man tries to answer these questions with a physical answer .
